General Rental Conditions – The UP Collection
Applicable to both Ferienwohnung Up and Casa Up.
1. Reservation and Payment
1.1. A reservation is considered final after receipt of written confirmation and deposit.
1.2. The deposit is 30% of the total rental amount and must be paid within 7 days after booking. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival.
1.3. For reservations within 6 weeks prior to arrival, the full amount must be paid immediately.
2. Cancellation
2.1. Cancellations must be made in writing.
2.2. In case of cancellation up to 6 weeks before arrival, the deposit will be retained.
2.3. In case of cancellation within 6 weeks prior to arrival, the full rental amount will be charged.
2.4. We recommend that guests take out travel and cancellation insurance.
3. Arrival and Departure
3.1. The accommodation is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
3.2. Deviating times are only possible after prior consultation and written confirmation.
4. Use of the Accommodation
4.1. The maximum permitted number of persons may not be exceeded without prior permission.
4.2. Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation.
4.3. Pets are only allowed after prior approval. Additional cleaning costs may apply.
4.4. Guests are responsible for keeping the accommodation clean during their stay.
5. Damage and Deposit
5.1. The tenant is responsible for any damage to the accommodation, inventory or property during the stay.
5.2. A security deposit may be required. This will be refunded within 14 days after departure, provided no damage has been found.
6. Responsibility of the Landlord
6.1. The landlord is not liable for loss, theft, damage or injury during the stay.
6.2. Any defects or complaints must be reported immediately so that they can be remedied as quickly as possible.
7. Force Majeure
7.1. In case of force majeure (such as natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) the lessor reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In that case, an appropriate solution will be offered.
8. Privacy
8.1. Personal data of guests will only be used for processing the reservation and will not be shared with third parties without permission.
9. Applicable Law
9.1. These rental conditions are governed by Dutch law.
9.2. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
